NPC specialises in contracting and training services for the energy, civil construction and mining industries throughout Queensland and Australia. NPC is 100% Indigenous owned and managed and prides itself on achieving an 80% Indigenous workforce. NPC has double the industry average for retention rates of Indigenous workers, which is testament to NPC's strong focus on understanding Indigenous culture while remaining commercially viable.

NPC was originally established as a 50/50 joint venture between an Indigenous company and an experienced mining contracting company. In 2008 the Indigenous company bought out their partners making NPC 100% Indigenous owned. Since 2008, NPC has grown rapidly with offices in northern, southern and western Queensland.

NPC extensively involves local Indigenous people in their workforce, enabling communities to take part in wealth-generating activities on their traditional lands. NPC specialises in joint venturing with companies and other Indigenous groups wishing to take part in the civil construction and resource industries. NPC want to use their unique experience of joint venturing to show other Indigenous groups how to take a similar path to success. NPC also ensures large corporations feel they are dealing with an experienced operator, therefore removing the risk usually associated with Indigenous communities who have not had any exposure to the energy, mining and civil construction industries.
